Not gonna lie, we was hungry. My husband drove down to the Peace Memorial Park, which required some long walking in the tropical heat, and then stopped at Umikaji Terrace, a multi-level food court overlooking the planes taking off and landing at the airport nearby. There were a lot of choices, mostly American-oriented fast food, but this cafe caught our eye and not just because of the big, ugly snake in the jar. It appeared to be run by two sunny women, and the menu was primarily Okinawan. We started with thirst quenching ¥500 Iced Coffees that helped us beat back the heat. We decided to split three appetizing items. First was the ¥1,300 SPAM Burger which surprised us as the SPAM was not simply sliced from the tin but turned into a tender patty and encased in a soft wheat bun with fresh vegetables and a tangy mayo. We also shared the ¥900 Fried Chicken Cutlets, tasty bar bites, four of them that were karaage-like and quite addictive with again the tangy mayo. Our third dish was the ¥800 Sea Grapes, and I have to say they were the freshest ones we had on our entire Okinawa trip because they popped so easily in our mouths. Overall it was nice to patronize a business that invests in fresh ingredients to create familiar dishes. Not sure about the snake though. FOOD - 4 stars...fresh takes on now familiar Okinawan dishes AMBIANCE - 4 stars...seems like a nice fit for the tourist-centric terrace setting SERVICE - 4.5 stars...the ladies were very kind TOTAL - 4 stars...definitely a worthwhile stop in the terrace

繁體中文 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 下雨天裡的溫暖美味！ 在瀨長島偶然走進這家可愛的咖啡店，買了四粒炸麻糬（其實是用沖繩島豆腐做的甜甜圈，口感超特別！）。每一顆都炸得又香又脆，外層酥脆、裡面軟Q，而且甜度恰到好處，喜歡吃甜點的朋友一定會很喜歡！ 最讓人感動的是親切的老闆娘，突然下起雨時，她很擔心我們淋雨，馬上親切地招呼我們進去店裡躲雨。這種人情味比美食更讓人難忘。下次來沖繩一定會再訪！ English ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Warm and Delicious on a Rainy Day! I stumbled into this cute cafe while exploring Umikaji Terrace in Senagajima and bought four pieces of their fried mochi (actually, they're Okinawan donuts made with island tofu—such a unique texture!). Each piece was fried to perfection: crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, with just the right amount of sweetness. Anyone with a sweet tooth would absolutely love these! What touched me the most was the incredibly kind老板娘 (lady boss). When it suddenly started raining, she was so worried about us getting wet and warmly invited us inside to take shelter. This kind of heartfelt hospitality is even more memorable than the delicious food. I will definitely visit again on my next trip to Okinawa! 日本語 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 雨の日の心温まる美味しさ！ 瀬長島のウミカジテラスを散策中、こちらの素敵なカフェに偶然入りました。4個の揚げ餅（正確には沖縄の島豆腐を使ったドーナツで、食感がとてもユニークです！） を購入。1つ1つがカリッと香ばしく揚げられていて、外はサクサク、中はもちもち。甘さも丁度良く、甘いものが好きな方にはたまらない一品です！ 何より感動したのは、親切な女将さんのおもてなし。突然雨が降り出した時、私たちが濡れるのを心配して、優しく店の中に招き入れてくれました。こうした温かい人情味は、美味しい料理以上に忘れがたい思い出になりました。次回沖縄を訪れる時も、必ず再訪します！

Get their purple yam Okinawan donuts!! They’re made of mochi and they’re soooo hot, nice, and chewy, not like the other dense Okinawan donuts They also have AC inside which I appreciated

Try okinawan donuts here! Fluffy, light, freshly fried - a mix of 4 flavours for 1000¥. Brown sugar and sweet potota were our favs. We hid here for some AC as well. Thank you for the kind hospitality

We had mackerel burgers after seeing a travel vlog's recommendation. Their burgers taste great and come with a generous portion of fries. Do try their Okinawa donuts, which are available in four flavors.
